Binary-search frequency matching
We use a binary-search audiometry method to converge on your tinnitus pitch in 6–8 steps. Resolution down to ~5 Hz across the 100 Hz–12 kHz range, per ear.
Real-time notch filtering
A high-Q parametric notch filter is applied to the soundscape at your matched frequency. Bandwidth (Q) and depth (dB) are both adjustable, inspired by tailor-made notched music training (TMNMT) research.
Calibrated noise generators
White, pink (1/f) and brown (1/f²) noise are synthesized in real time with proper spectral shaping — not looped samples.
FFT spectrum visualizer
A live FFT renders the audio spectrum at 60 fps so you can see the notch and the soundscape together.
Native audio engine
Audio runs through AVAudioEngine with a low-latency signal chain and supports background playback via the iOS audio session.
